So I wrote/read today but didn't have access to a computer at the time so here's how it went:
1. 2-21-08, 10:45
2. I figured I'd be in the bath tub for about an hour.
3. I was reading some in our text book.
4. I read for about an hour. I read the introduction for writers which I hadn't read before and it helped me get some insight. I also went back and review the stuff on chapter on imagery.
5. I planned to write again tonight for as long as I could.
1. 2-21-08, 5:45
2. I'm going to write as long as I can.
3. I want to get the Merlin story well started.
4. It went ok. I wrote for three hours. I procrastinated a lot at the beginning so I really only wrote for around 2 hours. But I got a good 400 words in.
5. I'm going to wake up early in the morning and see if I'm capable of writing in the morning. I'll continue the Merlin story and add on to the Muse story.
Writer's Thought of the Day:
Something I read that Terry Pratchett said was about how writing is like finding your way through a valley of clouds. That you can see the top of a few trees maybe, maybe you can see the other side even so you start out into the mist for the first tree you can see and everything else works itself out along the way. So even if you don't know everything that happens in a story start going towards what you do know you want to happen and everything else will fall in place.
