Too Early

I dunno about writing in the morning. I'm not much of a morning person. But here goes.

1. 2-22-08, 7:47
2. I'm going to write for about an hour but I might have interruptions.
3. I want to add more words to the Muse story. I really have to get these kickin' by tonight. I need to finish the rough drafts this weekend. I think I need to take a serious look at my schedule and take some stuff out. This is more important.
4. It's 9:11 now. I'm up to 1, 230 words now on the Muse story. I think tonight I can really do some damage for both stories. Being awake this early isn't cool for me though... I want to go back to sleep but I should really go to work. Being broke won out. Guess I'm going to work. It's FREAKING cold outside. I like where the muse story is going now. I think I'll send you what I have on both of them so far. They're VERY much so zero drafts. I haven't bothered editing them at all and know they need fleshing out and reorganizing. I'm just trying to get the word count up right now and get the whole story out there.
5. I'm going to write again this afternoon after a nap and well into the night. I'm expecting to start around 6 maybe and go until at least midnight.

Writer's Thought of the Day:
Patricia Wrede's advice to aspiring writers was to have a life. It's hard to make anything sound interesting on a page if all you're not interested in anything *but* the page. Also she talked a lot about the difference between professional writers who write even when they don't want to and wanna be writers who write only when they're "inspired". I'm taking the hint there.
