So I spent last night reading David's story, which I loved and want to read more of. Today I've read the others, I'm still working on Sarah's even though I got drawn in yesterday when I was printing them off and had already read the first few pages. Everyone's stories so far are great! I've just written some minor things. About confusing word choice or mixing up pronouns and their antecedent. Stuff that I probably have too because it's really hard to read for that stuff yourself. Because you know what you meant to say and even when you proofread you don't catch it because your mind skips over it.
I really want to start a writers circle. I wonder if anyone in our class would be interested. Maybe in a general workshop and also a genre specific one. I think there might be a few other people who write genre fiction too. When we get closer to the end of the year I think I'll bring it up.
Anyway I just wanted to clock in basically that I've gotten about three hours of work done in the past few days. I'll be writing a lot over the weekend too. I'm excited and nervous about the workshop today. I need to type up my comments before class. Bah Shakespeare test today. Screw that. I haven't even looked at my notes yet.
